Hello! My name is Tyra (they/she), and I am a counselor with Insight Counseling & Therapy. I graduated from the University of Idaho in 2019 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Sociology; in 2021, I graduated from Columbia University School of Social Work with a Master’s in Social Work, emphasis in Clinical Practice and International Foreign Policy. While I work with a variety of communities, my research focus has been on LGBTQ2SIA+, BIPOC, and people with Disabilities/Chronic Illness. I emphasize person-centered therapy, which means that I adjust my therapeutic approach to fit the needs of my clients.
